Scope of Work

SRS Power was entrusted with a comprehensive scope of work for the Golden Plains Wind Farm project. The primary task involved the supply of all necessary materials, drawings, labour, equipment, spare parts, and quality assurance for the design, manufacture, testing, packaging, transportation, and delivery of two prefabricated transportable control buildings, including panels, switchboards, inter panel wiring and commissioning. 

Project Details
  1. Design and Manufacture:
    • SRS Power was responsible for the complete design and manufacture of the control buildings.
    • This included the selection of materials and equipment, ensuring they met the project’s technical specifications and relevant standards.
  1. Prefabrication and Pre-commissioning:
    • The control buildings were prefabricated and fully fitted out with all specified electrical equipment.
    • Pre-commissioning was conducted to ensure all systems were operational before delivery.
  1. Compliance:
    • All work complied with the Technical Specification, Contract, and relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
    • Quality assurance processes were implemented to maintain high standards throughout the project.
  1. Logistics:
    • The buildings were packaged, transported, and delivered to the site in Cressy, Victoria.
    • SRS Power managed the logistics to ensure timely and safe delivery.
Outcome

The successful completion of this project demonstrated SRS Power’s capability in handling complex tasks involving design, manufacture, and logistics. The prefabricated control buildings were delivered on time and met all specified requirements, contributing to the overall success of the Golden Plains Wind Farm.
